Daniel Moore's Bio

Daniel Moore is a 9-time major champion professional pickleball player. After playing collegiate tennis at Azusa Pacific University, he started pickleball in 2013 when his father introduced him to the sport, saying "this is your only chance to become a national champion at something". Daniel continues to play at the professional level in addition to being an IPTPA certified instructor. He has taught in locations such as the United States, Japan, China, Singapore, Spain, France, Kenya and Mexico. Daniel also introduced pickleball to Japan and helped start the sport in China and Kenya.

Daniel co-founded and manages Pickleball Trips, taking pickleball players to world-class destinations around the world. Pickleball Trips has completed over 25 trips to 7 countries so far and is planning many more in the future.

Daniel lives and works in Japan, where he also runs Active Travel Japan, a custom travel business and works as a guide/translator. Daniel enjoys snowboarding and hiking in Japan's many mountains, as well as traveling around the world and introducing pickleball to new players.
