WHAT WE'RE ALL ABOUT

Welcome to the Pickleball Association Kauai (PAK) Home Page.  We are an IRS approved 501(c)(3) corporation since 2021.  We are a membership organization of pickleball players and supporters dedicated to fulfilling our mission on the island of Kauai.

Our Mission Statement:

Pickleball Association Kauai will develop, operate, and maintain quality dedicated pickleball venues with the spirit of Aloha.

We welcome anyone to join us as a member or supporter of our mission.  Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the United States, with millions of players that have become passionate fans of the game.  The game is simple to learn but takes a lifetime to master.  Played on a court that is about the size of a badminton court, it offers less strenuous running, but more sustained exercise than tennis.  Formerly seen as a sport for senior citizens, it has become popular with all ages, and even has a professional division.  It is not uncommon to see a senior citizen in their seventies beat a player in their twenties, as the game requires strategy, skill and practice as well as athleticism.

It is our hope that this web site will be visited often and serve to educate people about the “fun sport with the funny name”.  This site is constantly being improved so please come back often and see what's new!  Please CONTACT US at info@pakauai.org if you find an error, missing link, etc.  We also welcome suggestions, comments, and questions.  If you would like to volunteer in any capacity, we need you!

We don't quit playing because we grow old; we grow old because we quit playing.
